well, here's a good story from the other day. the Noodle has decided she is the litter police. we were going to daycare and there was a plastic lid on the ground. you know, the kind from a gas station cup of coffee.

she starts going off about how it is this one teacher's lid and she needs to get out here right now and pick it up. it is not good to throw things on the ground and not pick them up. i told her the teacher wasn't there yet, so i didn't think it was her lid. she kept going until we got inside; at which point she proceeded to look around the room for the teacher. and she wasn't there. the Noodle informed me. so she gave up on the lid. i ran into the teacher on my way out the door and told her about it. it's really funny because she comes in every morning with a cup of coffee from a gas station (completely different lid than the one on the ground. it was not hers) =) the Noodle is stubborn and won't listen but has the observation powers of a ninja.
the lid was gone today when we went to daycare. she informed me that the teacher was a good girl now since she picked up her garbage. i hope the Noodle continues to admonish people for littering well into her life.
